ALMS Driver Jonny Cocker to drive Revo Technik’s Volkswagen Jetta in the Global Tuner Grand Prix ‘Street’ class. Jonny will attend the event with Revo Technik’s CEO Mark Yates and will be based at the EuroSpec Sport camp during the three day event.
24 year old Jonny is no stranger to Laguna Seca having driven there during the last three seasons in the American Le Man Series. The 2010 ALMS season saw Jonny finishing 3rd overall in the LMP1 class driving the Drayson Racing Lola Coupe powered by the powerful Judd V10.
Although an avid fan of street tuning and especially in the Volkswagen/Audi scene driving his Revo tuned 400+BHP Audi TTRS as his daily ride, Jonny will experience a dramatic change in pace driving the street VeeDub compared to the 1.12.34 he posted in the Drayson Racing Lola/Judd this season; but says it will be just as enjoyable and is looking forward to what should be a great weekend.
